You can see here how the book closes. The ties on the top and bottom are typical for the Nag Hammadi codices, however, usually they would be tied in pairs, not across the book like here. They have a flap on the left (like this book does, too) but usually close with a leather band that is tugged under itself. Since I used paper rather than leather for the cover, I attached a piece of a skewer to help it stay shut
