I have been working mainly on the computer yesterday, not much to show off. The day started with writing up an interview with Jennifer of tickerfinch for the bookbinding team on Etsy’s blog. She is a writer and has something to say, wrote her part in such a nice way, but unfortunately about twice as much as fits into such a post. Editing her answers, cutting out a reasonable amount words without disturbing her flow of words took me several hours, and it was already past noon when I went into my studio that day. (Making texts shorter, especially when they were well-written is the most difficult part in making these interviews!) But I think it came out well now, and I hope if will be interesting to you all, so check our blog, the interview will come up tomorrow morning, and by looking for the tag “interview” you will see a bunch of posts that I did, talking with a variety of people.
Ich habe gestern vor allem am Computer gearbeitet, und es gibt nicht sehr viel zu berichten oder vorzuzeigen. Der Tag begann mit dem Schreiben eines Interviews. – Ich schreibe ja auch für unseren Bookbinding Team Blog, alles auf English, aber wenn ihr hier klickt, könnt ihr eine Reihe interessanter (hoffentlich interessanter) Interviews lesen.
Während es draußen vor meinem Fenster Winter ist, habe ich drinnen Papier gefaltet: Für zwei weitere Kundenaufträge. Ich hoffe, alles wird noch rechtzeitig bis Montag fertig. Nachdem meine Warenlieferung bei Perschau das letzte Mal innerhalb von 23 Stunden hier war, lässt es nun schon 4 Tage auf sich warten. Grrr! Ich brauche das Zeug, beeilt euch!
Outside my studio the winter has started. I don’t think we ever had that much snow already at the beginning of December. But I love snow. The dark is really getting to me this winter, and although the skies are still gray and dark, at least the world seems a little bit brighter now.
On my table: Paper to fill two books for a customer. They are due on Monday. Hope everything will work and come together in time. Plan: Make covers today, bind the books tomorrow. I just hope the supplies I ordered and expected to arrive on Tuesday will reach me today!

Und nach der kurzen Episode mit Papierfalten in meinem Arbeitszimmer, ging es wieder an den Computer. Wenn du in der letzten Zeit meine Homepage besucht hast, bist du vielleicht auf ein Bild wie oben zu sehen gestoßen: Die Flickr Diashows haben nicht mehr ordentlich funktioniert.
Ein guter Teil läuft jetzt wieder, aber ganz fertig bin ich immernoch nicht. – Mehr Arbeit für heute Abend. Bis demnächst!
