Ich hab’s ja schon mehrmals erzählt: Vor etwa einem Jahr habe ich aufgehört, Photoalben zu machen, weil ich so unzufrieden damit war, dass beim Knopfloch-Stil, den ich sonst so schön finde für Alben, der Heftfaden über die Buchkante verläuft, und da dann vielleicht zu schnell aufraut und durchscheuert. Nun habe ich mit meinem Butterfly-Buttonhole ja eine Lösung dafür gefunden, und es gibt nun wieder Photoalben in meinem Shop.
In einer neuen romantischen Linie sind die Seiten nun auch mit handgezeichneten und kolorierten Drucken verziert. Mehr in ähnlichem Stil ist in Planung, die Seiten für ein weiteres liegen schon auf meinem Arbeitstisch.
I mentioned it before: About a year ago I stopped making photo albums, because I feared that with the buttonhole style – which I generally love for photo albums – the sewing thread reaching over the edges of the cover might get hurt too fast.
Now that I developed my butterfly-buttonhole binding, I found a new joy in making these photo albums. In my shop are baby photo albums, and now also this new romantic style for sale. Others in a similarly romantic style are planned, for another one the printed pages are already resting under a weight to be bound in the next days.
