Last Worktable Wednesday In This Year: Printing

It is not even lunchtime yet, and I am already posting a Worktable today? – Yes, I am almost on vacation for the Holidays, and my workday was especially short.

Above you see some of the printing blocks for my mo.no project. Those that still have a whitish shimmer are new. I carved: Tagebuch (germ. = diary), Vortices, Top Secret, and Rezepte (germ. = recipes). And there’s a new design for the lower part of the book.

The lino looks so white because I put white water color on it before I sketched on the lino – to get a white background on which the pencil marks are better to make out. (I described the process here.)
Es ist gerade einmal Mittag, und schon poste ich einen Worktable Wednesday? – Naja, ich bin nun schon fast im Urlaub, und mein Arbeitstag war ganz kurz. Und zwar war mal wieder Drucken angesagt.

Auf dem Bild oben seht ihr verschiedene Linoleumstücke für meine mo.no Serie. Ich habe einige neue Titel geschnitten, unter anderem habe ich nun 2 deutsche Titel. Neu sind: Tagebuch, Vortices, Top Secret und Rezepte. Und wie ihr sehen könnt, gibt es auch ein neues Design für den unteren Teil.

Links sieht man die Konstruktion mit der ich drucke: Ein langes Holzbrett, auf das zuunterst das Papier/Buchleinen liegt, der Druckstock ist an dem kleinen Brett befestigt, der auf das Papier gelegt wird, und dann geht’s ab in die Presse.

Above you see the press and construction that I am using for printing. The first mo.no book’s covers first got made ready – and then I printed on them. Now I am trying it the other way around, and will see whether that works better.
